While most organizations appreciate the importance of information management, almost all of them fail to define a meaningful business case for addressing it. The purpose of this session is to share real life, how-to advice for building successful business cases as well as some worst practices to avoid. This session will showcase insights from two veterans in the financial services industry on building information management business cases.

You’ll return to your organization with:

  • A better understanding of why most business cases fail, what to avoid and how to identify “quicksand” projects early on
  • Examples on how to link your business benefit “cause” to an “effect” and what it does to the company’s bottom line
  • A way to compare your program return on investment (ROI) against the cost of doing nothing and articulate the risk of not investing versus taking action
